Motorcycle Stunt Show Excitement Comes to Fall AutoFest in Lakeland

LAKELAND, Fla. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- For over 40 years, Carlisle Events has promoted events that have a certain level of thrill to them.  Whether it’s monster truck shows during the Carlisle Truck Nationals in Pennsylvania or drifting excitement with the Carlisle Import & Performance Nationals each May, the group of event promoters in America’s Automotive Hometown (Carlisle, PA) know how to bring the action to its constituents.  That trend continues November 12-15 with Fall Florida AutoFest and motorcycle thrills via stunt rider Josh Borne (pronounced Born-e).  Borne brings with him years of experience and a previous relationship with Carlisle Events, having been part of a past Florida show in the fall of 2014.

The stunt shows will run the 12^th-15^th and will take place on the Warbird Pad on the east side of the field.  This one man show stars Borne, one of the nation’s premier street bike freestyle athletes.  What began passively in 2004 with the purchase of motorcycle number one has transitioned into a full-time gig.  Within one year, Borne had reached professional status and in 2008, he walked away from his “day job” to train and ride year round.  After tough training sessions, which are ongoing to this day, Borne became a top ranked competition rider on the XDL National Street Bike Freestyle circuit and was a World Championship Finalist in 2007 and 2008.

Fast forward to 2015 and Borne is still just as active, if not more so than a decade ago when he began.  Anyone attending SUN ‘n FUN for Fall Florida AutoFest will not only enjoy a swap meet, car corral and collector car auction, but also can enjoy a man who considers himself blessed to pursue his dream of riding.  See what’s known as stoppies, wheelies, hands-free riding and more.
