Botanical Interests’ 3rd Annual Harvest Moon Food Drive

BROOMFIELD, Colo. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Botanical Interests, a family-owned seed packet company in Broomfield, CO, believes in sharing the harvest, so they are partnering with a local food share organization to co-host the Harvest Moon Food Drive.

If you are in the Denver/Boulder area, bring your fresh food donation (canned and boxed foods are welcome, too) to Community Food Share at 650 S. Taylor Ave. in Louisville, CO on Monday, September 28 from 3–6 p.m., and receive a free Botanical Interests seed packet and sticker with each donation.

If you are not in the Denver/Boulder area but still want to participate, organize a Harvest Moon Food Drive in your area, or simply bring your harvest, whatever amount, to your local food share/bank. Even sharing a small amount will make a big difference.

“Home gardening is personally rewarding, but to be able to help others by doing something you love, is truly inspirational,” said Judy Seaborn, co-founder of Botanical Interests. Harvest Moon Food Drive is aptly named to celebrate the Harvest Moon, occurring on September 27, 2015. It is the time of year when most gardens are bursting with vegetables and fruits, thus making it the perfect time to donate excess harvest.

Participate in the Harvest Moon Food Drive (yours or ours) and post pictures of your donations to our Facebook page, #shareyourshare.
