Genesis Therapy Sponsors Annual Keeping Kids First Charity Event

OAK FOREST, Ill. - Sept. 21, 2015 - PRLog -- On Sunday, October 25^th from 2-6pm in Chicago Gaelic Park, the annual Keeping Kids First Charity Event will thrill guests with great food, fun prizes, and plenty of music and entertainment options. Sponsored by Genesis Therapy Center and Oak Lawn Family Services, all proceeds will go toward helping families gain access to excellent therapy services regardless of financial situation.

Lalo’s will be on hand with tasty tacos, while DJ Steve Mac will keep the party rocking. Guests can also watch an NFL game on a big screen while trying their luck at a variety of raffle prizes, including:

  •  Two-night stay in a Chicago condo
  •  Large flat screen smart TV
  •  Weber Q grill
  •  Fitbit
  •  Polaroid Zip instant photo printer

Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20. Tickets to the event are only $35 and include buffet and drinks; children ages 6-20 are only $5 (children 5 and under are free). All of the proceeds from the event and the raffle will go directly toward benefiting the Children's Services departments at Genesis Therapy and Oak Lawn Family Services.

Keeping Kids First is a part of Genesis Therapy's Kid Power initiative, built around ensuring that mistreated and neglected children are able to receive the care and attention they need, handling everything from the death of a loved one to learning disabilities to divorce and much more. The Genesis Center recently partnered with the Oak Lawn Children’s Museum, providing informational pamphlets explaining how parents can talk to their children about tragic events.
