Rocket Harley-Davidson Teams Up With Semper Fi Riders of the U.S. Marine Corps

MADISON, Ala. - Sept. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Rocket Harley-Davidson will host the Semper Fi Riders Poker Run on Sept. 12., starting at 8 a.m. Proceeds from the run will be used to help the Madison County community through the Semper Fi Riders support efforts, including the Semper Fi Community Task Force, Floyd E. ‘Tut’ Fann Veterans Home, SFCTF- Heros Week, Huntsville AMBUCS Mobility Trykes and the Eldridge Children’s Home.

Registration to participate in the poker run will open at 8 a.m. on Sept. 12 at Rocket Harley-Davidson. The cost to participate is $20 per rider and $10 per passenger or second poker hand; price includes lunch. The poker run will begin at Rocket Harley-Davidson, with the first bike leaving at 8:30 a.m. The last bike must return to Rocket Harley-Davidson by 1 p.m., where there will be a celebration complete with prizes awarded for high hand, low hand, and oldest biker. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, hot food, cold drinks, vendors, live music and custom Harley-Davidson fairings.

The Semper Fi Riders are U.S. Marines and Navy FMF Corpsmen who have honorably served or are currently on active duty or in reserve status that have come together to form a charitable non profit organization for the purpose of serving and supporting the local community of Northern Alabama by advancing the awareness of the needs and contributions of America's veterans and their families.
