Atlanta, Georgia – August 12, 2015  –  In an effort to engage Atlanta’s diverse communities in healthy and fun conversations around sex and sexuality, Sex Down South announces it’s 1st annual conference coming to the Sheraton Atlanta Airport Hotel in Atlanta, GA, October 15th – 17th.

Sex Down South is a three-day sex and sexuality conference featuring a diverse range of sexuality based workshops, various education stations where participants can learn and practice sexy skills taught by experts, and one-of-a-kind SEXxATL talks by local Atlanta experts.

Sex Down South is unique in the sexuality conference arena in it’s commitment to diversity.  The only sexuality conference in the United States that is spearheaded by a sexually and racially diverse management team, Sex Down South aims to cover a wide range of topics and workshops, moderated by often marginalized voices. Workshops will highlight sexual issues faced by women of color, trans* and gender non-conforming folks, sex workers, queer people, and differently-abled individuals.

The three day conference will cover a myriad of topics from sex education and sexual health, to healthy communication and relationship skills; from alternative lifestyles such as kink and polyamory, to sex and spirituality and navigating sexual trauma. The conference workshops will explore how race, gender, class, ability, religion, and other factors influence our experiences of our bodies and our sexualities. Sex Down South is a safe space for everyday people and “sexperts” alike to teach and share, with the hope that all participants leave the conference knowing more about their own sexualities and desires than when they arrived.

The theme of Sex Down South 2015  is Transcending Sex, and will include an in-depth exploration of different tantric practices. With industry experts, keynote speakers and vendors from around the country, the 2015 Sex Down South conference is not to be missed!

The conference will conclude on Saturday, October 17th with it’s exclusive Big Bang Event ball, featuring a seemingly endless evening of flirtatious revelry, erotic demonstrations, and deliciously diverse entertainment!
