Author and dream counselor Rose Gordy spent thirteen years of her early life as a nun effectively cut off from the world. In spite of the conditions within the Church, she managed to leave and make a life for herself including getting married and having three sons. Through her experiences in the convent as well as decades of teaching in the classroom, she has woven compelling stories and poems honoring the lives lost and changed forever by adversity. Rose Gordy is a national and state workshop facilitator, speech coach, veteran secondary English teacher, dream counselor, and published poet, essayist and short story writer. She earned a Master’s Degree in English and French from the University of Notre Dame and has been writing and teaching for most of her life.
