Carmelina collaborates with Mighty Mystic, one of the new leaders in US Reggae movement for SELECTA

NEW YORK - July 13, 2015 - PRLog -- Independent singer and songwriter, Carmelina Vargas announces the release of the  “Selecta” with a special collaboration with one of the new leaders in the U.S. Reggae movement, Mighty Mystic.  “Selecta” is produced by award winning producer DJ Creativity. “Selecta” Featuring Mighty Mystic, hits the airwaves this month, and is part of Carmelina’s mission to not just share her music with her audience, but also her true passion, strength and energy for life.  “Selecta” which includes Reggae chants and a dynamic verse from Mighty Mystic, is the follow up to the talented Latina artist’s recent EDM/dance single “Time For Love" produced by China's own DJ Ken Rock.

"Selecta" brings something refreshing this summer while also bringing back a sound that many enjoyed, a strong summer reggae party record in the likes of "Turnin Me On", "Uh Oh", "Pull Up", and "Pon De Replay"

The song with the sounds of Mighty Mystic, who has had singles out on VP Records in the past, is a great accompaniment to Carmelina's strong vocals and her powerful hook dedicated to all the Reggae and Hip Hop "Selecta's" out there!

2015 has been an amazing year for Carmelina.  She is working on some new projects to be released this year following “Selecta” featuring Mighty Mystic.

Carmelina Vargas is an independent Latina dance & pop singer and songwriter, acclaimed for her single “Alegria”, “Looking For Love” and “Come Back To Me” and a Latin Pop/R&B track, debut album titled “Morena.” She recently received the 2013 El Diario La Prensa’s “Latinas Destacadas” (Outstanding Individual of the Year) award.
