Klein® Tools Searches for the 2015 Electrician of the Year

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. - June 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Klein Tools (http://www.kleintools.com), for professionals since 1857, is calling for nominations for the annual Electrician of the Year (http://www.kleintools.com/eoy) award. All U.S.-based electricians are eligible, and judging is based on three criteria: professional achievement, safety excellence and community dedication.

Entries, including self-nominations, will be accepted online at www.kleintools.com/eoy through August 31st.

Six regional winners will be chosen by Klein Tools on September 15th. Those winners will be flown to San Francisco, and awarded Klein Tools’ Ultimate Garage Package including a 41-piece Klein Journeyman™ Tool Set and other Klein gear on October 5th. The grand prize winner will receive a 2015 Ford F-150 XLT Crew Cab customized by off-road specialists Addictive Desert Designs in Mesa, Arizona.

Addictive Desert Designs worked closely with Klein Tools to create a work truck that has everything an electrician needs on the jobsite. The truck features a custom-built Klein tool storage system, HoneyBadger front and rear bumpers, fender flairs, auxiliary lighting, and a six inch lift. People can watch the progress, as the truck is being built, by following Klein Tools or Addictive Desert Designs on social media or searching the hashtag #KleinEOY.
