| Backpacks to help Delray Beach children in needBy: Unity of Delray Beach Unity of Delray Beach is collecting backpacks and school supplies for local children in need now through August 16. Please bring the items in on Sundays now through August 16 and place them in the basket in the church Narthex. Or, you could come to the church office during business hours,10 a.m. to 4 p.m.Mondays through Thursdays,except 12 noon to 2 p.m.when the office is closed. Items needed include: Kleenex Pencils Ruler Post-it notes 3-ring binders Spiral notebooks Composition notebooks Pens: blue,black,red Colored pencils Glue Sticks Pink Erasers Washable Felt Markers Pencil Case Lined Paper Plain Paper Crayons There will be some very grateful families in our community with students who will start the school year happily equipped with your wonderful donations.
