WHITTIER, Calif. - June 2, 2015 - PRLog -- Introducing Frontline Filament Metal series featuring Copper, Brass, and brand new to the 3D printing world Aluminum 3D printing filament.

Some projects need something special and Frontline Metal PLA is a fun, high-value way to give your project that something special it needs. We’re offering 250 grams of our Metal/PLA hybrid filament on perfectly sized small spool that is ready to print. Frontline Filament Metal PLA is the perfect filament for a wide range of 3D printers and projects when you need a metallic look for your project.

Can be Polished!

To really make you prints shine Frontline Metal PLA can be polished bringing a whole new dimension to desktop 3D printing. By sanding your prints with 220 grit sandpaper, followed by smoothing with steel wool, and finally polishing with your favorite metal polish your prints will be smooth and look shinny like a full metal part. You can even do other secondary operations to give your parts the aged patina look. The possibilities are endless!

High Quality

Frontline Filament Metal PLA is an imported filament made to a diameter tolerance of +-0.05 mm and is tested on prints of long duration to be sure that it won’t let you down. Each spool is hand inspected to be sure its up to the high level of quality you can expect from Makersome.

No Heated Bed Needed

So your 3D printer doesn’t have a heated bed or you’re tired of the extra hassle using one can be? Frontline Metal PLA is formulated to work without a heated bed, in fact, we recommend that an unheated bed is used when printing Frontline Metal PLA. Without a heated bed your prints will stay flat and stick extremely well to your print surface.
