CHICAGO - The Chicago Photography Center announces the opening reception for The Best of Wine and Critique: A Photography Exhibit. This free reception is scheduled for Friday, July 31, 2015 from 7pm-9pm at the Chicago Photography Center (CPC), located at 621 W. Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL 60657.

The exhibit features work from a diverse group of photographers, with varying skill levels and experiences showcasing what is beautiful to them.

These photographers have been attending Chicago Photography Center’s Wine & Critique, held the 3rd Friday of each month, and now in its 4th year. At the Wine & Critique we enjoy a night of laughter and a glass of wine while critiquing with a group of industry experts and peers.  Those in attendance range from professional to amateur and everyone shares their knowledge of and passion for photography as art, personal expression, and business. Many of the W&C’ers share helpful information regarding photo equipment, shooting locations, models, hair stylists, and make-up artists. The W&C also hosts a themed contest each month which is open to all that attend.
