Darth K. Vaughn Named Partner at LightGabler LLP

CAMARILLO, Calif. - May 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Darth K. Vaughn has joined the Camarillo employment law firm LightGabler LLP as a partner, according to Karen L. Gabler, managing partner of the firm.

         Vaughn’s legal experience includes defending employers against a broad range of labor and employment disputes, including class actions and individual employee claims.  He also has significant civil litigation experience in commercial business disputes involving real estate, products liability, land use, fraud and environmental issues.  “Darth’s legal experience and technological skills will be a tremendous asset to our clients in business and employment litigation matters,” says Gabler.

         Vaughn was selected as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star” in 2015. He is admitted to the California State Bar, the U.S. District Court for the Central, Eastern and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals, Ninth Circuit. Vaughn is a long-time member of the National Bar Association, where he was honored with the Ronda F. Williams Emerging Leader Award (2014) and the Presidential Award for Exemplary Service to the Association (2013).

         Vaughn earned dual degrees from the University of Southern California in 2005, obtaining his Juris Doctorate from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and his Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California School of Policy, Planning and Development. In 1997, he received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Regional Planning and a Master in Regional Planning degree from Cornell University, where he was a Sage Fellow at the School of Architecture, Art and Planning.

         Before his legal career, Vaughn worked as a business technology consultant with Accenture in New York City. He also conducted urban planning research at Johns Hopkins University and the Mellon & Ford Foundation at the University of California, Berkeley.
