LACE by Jenny Wu - 3D Print Jewelry New Material Launch

LOS ANGELES - May 14, 2015 - PRLog -- LACE by Jenny Wu announced today the launch of three new 3D printed materials (grey steel, stainless steel, and rose gold) to the LACE collection beginning on May 15th.  LACE is a collection of 3D printed jewelry designed by Jenny Wu of the LA based architectural firm, Oyler Wu Collaborative.  The LACE by Jenny Wu collection reflects Wu’s architectural aesthetic, marrying line-based geometry with intricate organic movement to create avant-garde designs that make a statement.

“The new steel collection is especially exciting for us since it is the first time our collection will be 3D printed directly using fused steel through a binder based 3D printing technology,” said Jenny.  This technology was previously used mostly for industrial applications but is now available for high resolution 3D printing applications such as jewelry.

The new rose gold collection utilizes a high-resolution 3D wax printer to create the mold for the cast and metal plating process to achieve a high quality precious metal finish at an affordable price.

The new materials as well as the existing collection is available for purchase online at www.JennyWuLACE.com.
