Trojan Utilities Adds Up To New Assistant

BOLTON, U.K. - April 21, 2015 - PRLog -- Little under a year ago Melissa started out as a business administrator supporting the company’s metering engineering department by booking installations and managing engineer workloads. Melissa now works within the very busy accounts department supporting the company’s finance director with day to day activities such as, invoicing, supplier relationships, making payments and managing cash flow.

Melissa says: “Before I started work at Trojan I had a job as a retail manager, I wanted a completely different role that would not only challenge me but provide me with a future. Upon starting at Trojan I made everyone aware that I had an interest in accounts and that I had enrolled on a distance learning course to further my knowledge and understanding. The fact I had taken the initiative was commended and I was offered the role of Accounts Assistant.

Trojan Utilities specialises in the installation and maintenance of domestic Smart Meters throughout the UK; including the installation and maintenance of traditional domestic gas and electric meters.  With an infrastructure now established for national operations the company is supporting Government legislation to lower the carbon footprint of the UK by replacing the metering system currently in place with that of smart metering – to date they are currently installing 2,500 smart meters per week.
