Free Community Shred Event Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Peabody

PEABODY, Mass. - April 9, 2015 - PRLog -- This free event aims to raise public awareness of the need to securely destroy confidential material in order to prevent identify theft and fraud, as well as encouraging people to recycle more.

A truck from Universal Shredding will be at Freedman Financial’s office at 8 Essex Center Drive, Peabody, Massachusetts to shred your sensitive documents on Sunday, May 3 from 9am to noon.  Universal Shredding is NAID AAA certified, the highest certification available for the secure document destruction business.

Freedman Financial is committed to improving the lives of our clients and the community of the North Shore by offering this opportunity to reduce your risk of identity theft.  Accepted items to be properly disposed of include old bills, check stubs, health information and any other confidential information that has accumulated over the years.  Participants do not need to remove staples or paper clips.
