ELK GROVE, Calif. - April 6, 2015 - PRLog -- This is the title of an article published in the print edition of Bloomberg Businessweek January 12 - January 18. It goes through the benefits of the oil drop and how consumers are responding.

The market's are very nervous about the oil pressure and how it will affect revenues and other commodity prices. Recently the volatility in oil has been hitting a wide swing with steep days up and steep days down.

The DOW has been dropping nearly in line with the drops in oil prices. In addition to the drop in oil prices and it's affect on markets it also causes worry for those who remember the crisis Russia endured in 1998 when markets faced a similar challenge.

Despite these possible challenges there are very real benefits consumers are experiencing right now here in the U. S. To name a few, lower gasoline, diesel, jet fuel, as well as lower vehicle prices. With 70% of the U.S. economy coming from consumer spending very little comes from big energy. Big energy meaning pipeline spending, oil rig building, etc.

The real reason markets are responding with so much fear to oil prices drops surround global growth apprehension. Many economists believe the oil drop is merely showing the weakness that exists in the global economy. If oil continues to drop the effect might be seen in slower growth of the U.S. economy.

As we watch the market change it's momentum and adjust to account for current and potential risks it makes it even more clear that an evolving financial strategy and team of advisors is necessary.
