These ground breaking systems will consist of Smart ACARS™, Smart ADS-B™, Smart FDR™, Smart ELT™ and Smart Transponder™
The self-powered Smart Transponder™ will monitor the power management of the existing aircraft Transponder so that if the device is turned off, tampered with, or experiences a power failure, Smart Transponder™ will immediately “squawk” the internationally recognized 7700 Aircraft Emergency Message to Air Traffic Control over a secure aircraft communication system.
In addition, the system concurrently activates the aircraft Emergency Location Transmitter (ELT) and/or Smart ELT™which sends a GPS-based 406 MHz emergency alert to the Global Search and Rescue (COSPAS-SAT)
