Kenneth Marks, Founder and Managing Partner of High Rock Partners to speak at Exit Planning Exchange

WALTHAM, Mass. - March 16, 2015 - PRLog -- The Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Boston announces that Kenneth Marks, Founder and Managing Partner of High Rock Partners will be a featured speaker at the XPX Boston annual Summit on March 19^th, 2015 at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods.

“The Progression of Succession” is the theme of the 2015 Summit.  Well known advisors and owners, such as Marks, will share their practical knowledge and experience on preparing for and successfully executing business succession.  Marks is one of the keynote speakers and will focus on “Growing Business Value.”  Other topics at this year’s Summit include growth capital, ESOP’s, internal ownership transition, management and leadership succession and sale. The Summit will run from 8:00 AM-4:00 PM with a reception afterwards.

Marks’ expertise is in mergers, acquisitions and the financing of emerging growth and middle market companies.  He combines his first-hand experiences in building and selling multiple businesses for himself with more than 15 years of developing growth strategies and partnering  with CEOs, assisting them in making key strategic decisions.

He is the lead author of Middle Market M&A: Handbook for Investment Banking and Business Consulting and the Handbook of Financing Growth: Strategies, Capital Structure and M&A Transactions.

Marks has an electrical engineering background and obtained an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.  He is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor and holds a Corporate Finance Qualification.

In addition to featured speakers, the summit will include panelists and a fireside chat.  The highly interactive format will allow business owners and advisors to share personal lessons learned, tips and tricks, and stories regarding the requirements for successful management transition and exit.
