LANHAM, Md. - March 3, 2015 - PRLog -- Nathaniel Harley, Jr., a Veteran and Defense Consultant, recently published a book: Strengthened By The Struggle, a Christian-based, non-fiction collection of 40 meditations. The inspirational messages surround the themes of struggling through challenges in faith, forgiveness, purpose, patience, and discipleship.

Strengthened By The Struggle focuses on three fundamental Christian truths,” said Harley. “First, it conveys to people everywhere that no matter how hard things may seem, we are not alone in our struggles. Second, struggles are often disguised as opportunities. And third, I'd like people to remember that God loves us all unconditionally, throughout our struggles.”

Harley said he was motivated to write the book to inspire his church during its annual period of prayer and fasting. He disseminated his inspirational meditations among his congregation to encourage the church members. The next year, Harley wrote more meditations. They were so well received, he was led to publish his entire collection hoping to minister to even more people in need of inspiration.

“The book has been well received,” Harley said. “Along with the blog, “Strengthened By This Week," the book’s message has reached people throughout the nation and across denominational lines. It's also been used in a growing number of ministry auxiliary groups.”

What readers are saying:

“Your book is great based upon what I have read so far.  I have a leadership conference this weekend and my presentation will come from your book.  I also plan to use your book at my church.  Your book is a great blessing!” (Washington, DC pastor).

“My husband is really liking your book. He reads it everyday and last week he was laid off, so your book has helped him.” (Northern Virginia wife).

“My husband seems to be enjoying the book and it may be ‘the one’ that he uses to gain the strength he needs to draw from. The book seems to be drawing him as he has read and shared with me what he took from it.” (Woodbridge, VA wife and mother).

“I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your book! Every word was spiritually encouraging and inspiring. I could see situations I was facing or people I encountered that help me remember the power we as Christians have been equipped with to conquer the adversary. There were even times I was enlightened to see my own personal struggles within myself, to see situations through "God's eyes" and not mine.  I wish you all the best and pray that you have already started work on the next one!” (South Carolina Mother).

“Thank you for your insightful, inspiring, and encouraging book!” (North Carolina widow and mother).

“With your permission, I am going to reference your book in a regional conference I am doing next month.” (Alabama Pastor).

The book is available for purchase from the author’s website: https://www.strengthenedby.com, on Amazon and other online booksellers.
