5th Annual Every Child Matters 5K Run/WalkChildren of the Caribbean Foundation announces its 5th Annual Run/Walk in support of its education initiative. Facilitating access to pre-school education for children, particularly those with special needs in the Caribbean, is the program which this year's race will be supporting.
By: Children of the Caribbean Foundation Running enthusiasts and all supporters of Children’s Rights are encouraged to form a team, bringing together friends and family members to challenge themselves to completing the 3.1 mile course and to raise awareness and funds for the Every Child Matters campaign to increase access to early education for special needs children across the Caribbean. Cash prizes will be given to the top male and female adult finishers. Winners in each age group, along with top fundraising teams will be recognized as part of an awards ceremony at the end of the race. Check-in on the day of the event will begin at 7:00 a.m. The Kids’ 1K will start at 10:00 a.m. The 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:30 a.m. For more information on the event, to volunteer, register or become a sponsor, visit EveryChildMatters5K.org.
