Frungillo Caterers Names New Director of Sales - Julian Romero

MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. - Feb. 25, 2015 - PRLog -- Frungillo Caterers today announced the appointment of Julian Romero to Director of Sales & Marketing, effective Feb 16.  Romero is formerly of Royal Caribbean International and will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s sales and marketing efforts, including brand strategy and positioning, consumer advertising, web and social media marketing, research, and leading the company’s sales team. He will report directly to Robert Frungillo, the company’s President.

In his former position at Royal Caribbean International, Romero served as District Sales Manager of the north east region, where he was responsible for the strategic sales of new cruise itineraries and brand awareness within the travel agent community. Romero was a key contributor to several major events at Royal Caribbean International including the launch of the Freedom Class ships and Oasis of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship.

Prior to working at Royal Caribbean International, Romero was the Sales and Marketing director  for Majestic Events, a wedding planning company he helped launch in 2003 and a Senior Account Executive with the Grand Summit Hotel, a boutique 4-star property in Summit, NJ.  Romero has been featured nationally on TLC’s “Four Weddings” and has worked with notable celebrity planners including Dina Manzo of Designer Affair and Grace Ormonde, Editor-in-Chief of Wedding Style magazine.
