Erin Atkinson, PE, CFM, GISP, Director of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Team Leader in the Fort Worth office, has been named vice president. Mr. Atkinson leads a variety of projects using GIS technology to assist the engineering process through spatial analysis. He has been instrumental in developing Halff’s Process Management Tools, a collection ofinnovative solutions that help users more efficiently manage and interact with their data. Mr. Atkinson joined Halff in 2001 and earned his Master of Science in civil engineering/ Jessica D. Baker, PE, CFM, PMP, Water Resources Team Leader in the Richardson headquarters office, has been named vice president. Ms. Baker is a recent winner of the University of Texas at Austin Cockrell School of Engineering 2014 Outstanding Young Alumna award, recognized for her contributions and accomplishments in water resources, specifically floodplain management. She serves on the Association of State Floodplain Managers national board, as the Region VI Director representing Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. She also serves as vice president of the Texas Floodplain Management Association. Through this role she teaches flood safety courses throughout Texas. Ms. Baker earned her Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and joined Halff in 2003. She is the recipient of numerous awards, a frequent presenter at professional conferences, and has authored numerous technical papers. She is a Texas-Licensed Professional Engineer, a Certified Floodplain Manager, and a Project Management Professional. Joni Caldwell, SPHR, Director of Human Resources, has been named vice president. Ms. Caldwell joined Halff in 2007 and oversees all facets of the employee experience including recruiting, training, benefits, employee relations, conflict management, and employee feedback. Ms. Caldwell earned her Bachelor of Arts and Sciencesin psychology and business administration (graduating cum laude) as well as her Master of Arts in organizational management from Dallas Baptist University. She is Senior Professional Human Resources certified and is trained to be a mediator in Texas. Edward Herolt, PE, a professional engineer in the San Antonio office, has been named vice president, along with assuming responsibility as the San Antonio Office Branch Manager. In this role, he will lead the operations of the San Antonio office. Mr. Herolt joined Halff in April 2004 and has more than 20 years of experience in managing, planning, designing, and the construction of a wide variety of roadway, highway, and drainage projects for public agencies and private developers. Mr. Herolt earned his Bachelor of Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. He is a Texas-licensed Professional Engineer.
