Radiology: new Portable Collimator R72 DHHS

Ralco now strive to provide the same excellence to North American customers with the opening of a California branch, Ralco Medical Components Inc., in 2014.


A medical collimation system is typically used to refer to the process and setup used during an x-ray event.

The purpose of the this system is to control the radiation that gets into the air during the x-ray procedure and also to ensure that films are not damaged during the X-ray process.

Ralco has recently produced a new X-ray collimator: Portable Collimator R72 DHHS.

R72 DHHS is a single layer, square field, manual collimation system with a lightweight and compact design intended for installation on portable X-ray equipment. This device has been designed and manufactured for skeletal and articular investigations of all body areas.
