Guest Host Sheryl Greenblatt Talks with City of Henderson Rep. Nicole Johnson

LAS VEGAS - Feb. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Las Vegas, (NV February 4, 2015) – PR Connections has a guest host this week, Public Relations Director for Rapid Application Development Sheryl Greenblatt. She will be interviewing Nicole Johnson, Public Relations Coordinator for the City of Henderson, Wed February 4 at 1:00 PM on KLAV 1230AM or klav1230am.com.

Sheryl will guest host for Guy Dawson who is on vacation this week.

Greenblatt has previous experience with radio as a former intern for Guy Dawson. She has been on PR Connections once as a guest and co-hosted with Guy four times.

Sheryl is enthusiastic to host the show by herself. “I’m excited to stretch my radio wings and make Guy Dawson proud,” she said.

Greenblatt will interview Nicole Johnson, Public Relations Coordinator for the City of Henderson about upcoming spring events.

A native of Southern Nevada, Nicole graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in 2006, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in communication with an emphasis in public relations and played soccer for the university team. Her interest in public relations began after taking communication and journalism courses and continued to grow after completing an event-planning class. Nicole has been working in public relations for nine years. She worked one year for Marshall Fenn Five Star Communication, and has worked for the City of Henderson for the last eight years. Nicole went into public service to serve the community where she was born and raised.

Nicole will discuss upcoming events for the City of Henderson. One event is the Southern Nevada Sons and Daughters of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, March 13 to 15. The family event lasts three days and offers many festivities.

Johnson is excited to join PR Connections to discuss the spring events. “I’m very excited to be on PR Connections which is a great advocate for our programs and events,” she said. “I’m excited to promote the spring events.”

Sheryl’s communication experience grew from her love of writing and animals. She moved from New York to Las Vegas in 2007 and began to freelance for the general pets section of Examiner.com. Greenblatt later founded the movement, Paw It Forward, which promotes helping animals in the Las Vegas area.

Greenblatt met Guy at Toastmasters International, an organization focused on helping people with public speaking. Impressed by her work for Paw It Forward, Guy took her under his wing as an intern. Sheryl has applied the skills she learned from Guy to become a better publicist.
