You + Your iPhone + 7 Days = Published Book?

High-tech, high-psych new writing approach helps you create and publish your first book fast

TACOMA, Wash. - Feb. 3, 2015 - PRLog -- What happens when a busy college instructor wants to write a series of books, but doesn’t really have the time? Well, in this case he researches and designs a high-speed writing system centered around his iPhone — and then uses the system to write his first book in 7 days.

Author Mark C. Massey has just published “iPhone Author: How to Write Your First Book on Your iPhone in 7 Days” (Amazon Kindle). Massey pulled from his graduate school background in Sport Psychology and combined it with his love of technology to create a new writing system that is at odds with many of the traditional approaches to writing.

“When all you have to do is talk to your iPhone, and it types for you, why in the world would you ever waste time on typing a manuscript?” Massey asks. “Especially when most of us can talk 2-3 times faster than we can type?”

Massey takes issue with even the notion of “writing” as the focus of book production, preferring to hone in on the creative side of the process. Drawing on psychological research on what conditions best stimulate creativity, he crafts “6 Radical Rules for Rapid Writing” that move beyond dull seat-in-the-chair writing discipline to help authors write faster.

Massey’s “7 Day Book Blitz Recipe” takes this creativity research and transforms it into a practical step-by-step guide for any budding author to use to self-publish a book on Amazon.

As a long time college volleyball coach with multiple nationally-ranked teams, Massey also includes a healthy dose of psychological skill preparation to help writers enter and maintain the same “Flow Zone” that Olympic-level competitors draw upon under pressure.

Published on the Amazon Kindle platform, the book is already garnering positive reviews. Amazon reviewer Leigh stated:

“… it felt like I was being helped by a friend. I especially enjoyed the psychology aspect of the brainstorming, writing, and editing phases.”

International reviewer Lukasz from the United Kingdom added:

“Amazing little gem … the author deserves all the recognition for writing (dictating :) one of the best, up to date, practical and cheeky guides for beginners out there.”

If you’ve ever wanted to publish your own book, but don’t know how (or face the same time pressures as author Massey) you’ll want to investigate the streamlined high-tech approach to book writing detailed in “iPhone Author: How to Write Your First Book on Your iPhone in 7 Days.” It is available in the Amazon Kindle Store or at http://BiteSizedBook.com
