By: David H. Scott Inspired by NaNoWriMo's campaign which designated November as the “National Novel Writing Month (http://nanowrimo.org/) Approximately 22,000 words later, David's book is a story about Steve who “was just another ordinary guy living in an ordinary village, when the happiest villager he'd ever met sent him on a quest to save the world.” Since the book went on sale on January 15, 2015, readers which have included both adults and children have expressed great enthusiasm for David's novel. “David, at only twelve, has created a story that has just about every ingredient that a preteen boy's mind craves... For such a young man, David shows a great flair for storytelling beyond his years, interpreting the events of a crazy world in such a way that even an old fart like me can understand.” Both David's parents, Wendy Woudstra and Ian Scott, are obviously very proud of their son's achievements. “I am very impressed with his writing, imagination and ability to tell a story,” his dad said. Wendy noted that “David worked very hard on this and already has plans for a second novel in a series.” David Scott was born in Orangeville in 2002 and has grown up in the town. His interests include Karate, Minecraft, and Lego while also spending a great deal of time reading when he is not hanging out with friends. He has also been invited to do a presentation on writing and publishing at a local public school after his achievement became more known. Visit http://ianscottgroup.com/ End
