Useless Machine in a Can - Fun Kit for Everyone on KickStarter

SAINTE-ADELE, Quebec - Jan. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Today we are have launched our campaign on Kickstarter (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/67279121/useless-machine-in-a-can-fun-kit-for-everyone) for our project, the Useless Can.

The useless machine is now 62 years old! Yes, our Useless Can uses the same principle, but in a much more modern way. We have developed a circuit board that includes all the logic of the mechanism, so you don’t need a soldering iron to assemble the parts.

The first useless machine have been invented by MIT professor Marvin Minsky, while a graduate student at Bell Labs in 1952. If we reach our goal, it will be my honor to send him a Useless Can for free!

By pledging an amount toward our project on Kickstarter, you’ll be encouraging our creativity and in December (just in time for Christmas), you’ll receive your very own Useless Can! The Useless Can is a kit suitable for people of all ages. It contains 45 parts that you assemble (no soldering required) in order to create a fun mechanism.

For our Kickstarter campaign, we are offering a variety of different pledges: 1-kit or 4-kit pledges for family and friends, or 10-kit pledges that can be used as unique corporate gifts. Your kits can also be inscribed with your name or logo on a customized label.

Our campaign is attempting to raise $9,000 and the Kickstarter funding model is designed on an “all or nothing” basis. In other words, we have just 30 days to reach our goal and either you will receive your pledge guarantee, or you will be refunded.
