CONCORD, Ontario - Jan. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Dear Friends of RONCO

19 years ago we started RONCO with a vision to be one of the leaders in the PPE industry in Canada and I want to take a moment to thank each one of you who has been a part of our journey towards achieving our goal. I am pleased to say that for the second consecutive year, we are one of Canada’s Top 500 Fastest Growing Companies.

2014 was a year like no other. We celebrated our successes and learned from our mistakes. We continued to strengthen our presence in the Canadian market by focusing on our 3 SBU’s (Strategic Business Units): Head, Hand and Body Protection.

There were challenges that we all faced in our businesses. Canadian currency has depreciated by almost 8% over the past few months. Increase in salaries in the Far East is continuing to create added pressure on manufacturers like us.

Innovation continues to be our focus in 2015. We have 2 new strategic partnerships that will enable us to introduce innovative and technologically advanced products in the North American market. Univet, an award winning Italian designer and manufacturer of eye protection products has selected RONCO to be their partner to introduce their products in North America.

BLS, our other strategic partner is also based out of Italy and is a specialist in respiratory protection. 100% of BLS products are manufactured in Italy.

We are proud of these new alliances; you will be hearing more on these over the next few months.

2015 marks another new beginning for us; we have moved to our new facility at 70 Planchet in Concord, Ontario. Our new facility is modern and bigger and instead of 2 warehouses, we now have all of our inventory under one roof. This will improve our operational efficiencies and help us to serve you better. Improved efficiencies deliver better customer experience.

Once again, I would like to thank all of you alike, our partners: customers, vendors, end-users and employees who have helped us reach where we are today and contributed to our success. I assure each one of you that we will continue to strive to meet and exceed your expectations.
