Free 4-Week YMCA Series: Healthy Mindful Living

The Conejo Valley YMCA and Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park are offering a free four-week series, “Healthy Mindful Living,” that will teach techniques to reduce stress, enhance attention and peace of mind and improve self-awareness.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Jan. 8, 2015 - PRLog -- The Conejo Valley YMCA and Miller Family YMCA of Newbury Park are offering a free four-week series, “Healthy Mindful Living,” that will teach techniques to reduce stress, enhance attention and peace of mind and improve self-awareness. Sessions will take place on Tuesdays at the Miller Y beginning January 20 and Thursdays at the Conejo Y beginning January 22.

         Leading the sessions is Lindsay Leimbach who has over 23 years of experience teaching classes on mindful, active awareness and integrity before schools, groups and businesses. She is also an executive board member of the Southeast Ventura County YMCA. “Healthy Mindful Living classes help people to lead a life that welcomes change and increases overall happiness,” says Leimbach. “It teaches us how to let go of worry and anxiety and counter balance anger and disappointment.”
