| Get Your Book Published in 2015 With Help From the Writers Resource CenterAuthors’ Goal Setting Session Planned for WRC’s January 10th Workshop
By: Writers Resource Center “A new year equals new goals,” says WRC President Janie P. Bess. “Writers will often have an idea for a book, but never put in place the kind of goal-setting and planning necessary for getting the project done. This workshop will take them through the steps needed to become a published author.” The session will also include a look back and assessment of goals set last year by WRC members. Authors who already have published books are invited to bring copies to display and sell. They will also be given time to talk about their books. All participants should bring their own writing supplies (paper and pens) or laptops or other electronic writing devices. Annual Membership Drive Workshop attendees will have the opportunity to become a WRC member. Memberships are only $50 per year. Benefits include free admission to monthly meetings; discounts for conferences and classes; and a chance to help guide the Center’s activities.
