The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported an average net increase of 165 cases of fatal occupational injuries over the preceding 5 year, according to their preliminary findings released September 11, 2014. Adherence to OSHA guidelines in manufacturing will not only save lives, protect workers from injury and increase morale it will have a positive impact on the economy.
