The Lounge by Manhattan opens at Mina Al Arab in Ras Al Khaimah

Dec. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- UAE, December 16, 2014 - RAK Properties PJSC, one of the biggest property developers listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange, welcomed the opening of ‘The Lounge’ by Manhattan, a new chic waterfront café –featuring the first ICONS Coffee Couture outlet in Ras Al Khaimah. The inauguration was made more memorable with an attempt to break the record for the world’s largest dessert party—serving a large menu offering of sweet delicacies to a record number of attendees.

The café opening was attended by several high-profile dignitaries, including H.H Sheikh Ahmed bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone; Stefan Kopetz, German Celebrity Chef and Confectioner; Abdulrahman Al Neaimi, Chief Executive Officer of Manhattan Enterprises, Paul Ashton, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RAK Properties, Mohammed Al Tair, Chief Operating Officer of RAK Properties and Elena Weber, former international model and founder of ICONS Coffee Couture.

During the attempt to set the new world record, invited participants were asked to taste and sample three different types of sugar free desserts. In addition, organic coffee and a buffet meal was also served to the attendees during the entertaining evening.
