Company Creates College Scholarship Award for Employees

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. - Dec. 15, 2014 - PRLog -- The CEO of RDI Inc., Hector Mendoza, created a $1,000 scholarship award for company employees who are currently attending college. The scholarship opportunity will be available through the company website and social media accounts between Dec.22 through Jan. 12.  RDI Inc. supports higher education and understands the difficulties of being fulltime employees while attending college part time.

“I see this scholarship opportunity as an investment in our future. I want to promote a higher level of education at RDI because it enables individuals to become more confident and competent in understanding the workforce, economy, and society.  This award will create an opportunity for those who continue to excel in the workplace and their respective academic institutions” said Mendoza.

The scholarship will be open to all company employees that are currently enrolled in college. Applicants must have proof of enrollment and an active Instagram account for the duration of the contest. The scholarship opportunity will be available for four weeks and will consist of an essay with a social media tie-in. After the essay submission, candidates are required to upload a selfie or video with a visible RDI logo in the background onto their Instagram account. Applicants will then have to caption the post with the indicated hashtags provided.
