Apollos University President elected to DETC Nominating Committee

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - Dec. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- Dr. Paul Eidson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Apollos University, has been elected to the Distance Education and Training Council (DETC) Nominating Committee. He was elected following the DETC Business Meeting held on October 6, 2014 in Austin, Texas. He will join current Nominating Committee members, Dr. David Curd with Harrison Middleton University, Mr. Paul McDonald with American Graduate University and Ms. Dawn Turco with The Hadley School for the Blind.

“I would like to express my deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve in this important capacity for DETC,” said Dr. Eidson, “I look forward to working with my colleagues in the coming months to identify strong institution member candidates for election to the DETC Board of Directors.”

The election of new members to the Board of Directors is an important part of the governance and accreditation activities of the DETC. The Directors encourage all accredited institutions to fully engage and participate in forthcoming nomination and election processes.
