Robert Viamari, Owner of Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine, wins Family Business Association Award

YARMOUTH PORT, Mass. - Dec. 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Robert J. Viamari, publisher of the monthly Cape & Plymouth Business Magazine, was recently honored at the Massachusetts Family Business Association awards ceremony for his contributions to and advancement of the cause of family business in Massachusetts.

Viamari was awarded the organization’s 2014 Regional Family Business Advocacy Award, for being “an exemplary supporter of family business,” chosen by the Executive Directors for his continued assistance to and education of family businesses.

The annual Family Business Association (FBA) Awards highlight successful family businesses and recognizes excellence within them: celebrating their accomplishments, honoring their ability to deal with adversity, and recognizing them for their philanthropic efforts. The FBA is the leading independent, non-profit organization serving family business enterprises; it provides educational programming and a forum for these businesses to collaboratively exchange knowledge and experience. The FBA is dedicated to the recognition and implementation of best business practices and ethical standards among these enterprises.

Viamari was among a number of business people honored at the recent Family Business Awards ceremony held at the Royal Sontesta Hotel, Cambridge. Viamari The award given to Viamari was the first time that this category has been awarded. Viamari’s monthly publication, Cape & Plymouth Business, has interviewed and published articles about individual family businesses extensively, and his organization has advocated for the advancement of the family business in a number of forums. He is also the publisher of Health & Wealth Magazine which also highlights family owned businesses among its agenda.
