Local Volkswagen Dealer Nominated for a TIME Dealer of the Year

EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Dec. 2, 2014 - PRLog -- There are a lot rewards and great vibes that come along with being a car dealer. Nothing makes us happier than helping car shoppers find the perfect vehicle and to see them leave the lot smiling. But every now and again, we also get recognized for our hard work and efforts. And that’s why our East Providence Volkswagen dealer – Scott Volkswagen – wants to share our TIME Dealer of the Year nomination with you!

The TIME Dealer of the Year award has been labeled as one of the most prestigious honors that a new car dealer can receive. The honor is a presentation from TIME and comes from a partnership between Ally Financial Inc. and the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA).

That’s why it was such an honor when our owner, Brad Scott, was nominated for the award by Jack A. Perkins, the executive vice president of the Rhode Island Automobile Dealers Association.

Scott has been working for Scott Volkswagen, once owned by his father, since he was young. For almost ten years, he has been running the dealership. In 2006 he enrolled in the NADA Dealer Candidate Academy in McLean, Virginia, and graduated that year. Since then he was able to double the volume and power of the facility and make it a revered dealership in the area.

Throughout his tenure, Scott has been working hard to make Scott Volkswagen a dealership that surpasses all of the standards. Whether it’s as a member of the NADA 20 Group or giving back to organizations in the community and setting the example, Scott has made this family facility one to be looked up to. So it’s clear as to what earned him his nomination.
