Chrysler, Kia and Dodge are offering the best deals this month, with average cash incentives of $3,433, 2,728 and $2,306 respectively. In the luxury sector, the highest cash incentives belong to Jaguar, Acura and Lincoln, with respective averages of $6,212, $4,148 and $3,237. However, the prize for the best cash incentive should ultimately go to Hyundai for its $4,635 reduction on the 2015 Hyundai Elantra Sedan Manual L. Considering that the vehicle’s MSRP is only $15,999, this puts the price after incentives at $11,364, which is about 29 per cent less than the original price (excluding freight, PDI, taxes, options and additional dealer discounts). “Consumers are responding to the big rebates and low interest rates from automakers with 2014 shaping up to be another record year for new car sales volumes,” says Andrew Tai, CEO of Unhaggle. “Competition for market share continues to be fierce though and that makes for great opportunities for shoppers to take advantage of outsized savings.” One possible caveat when it comes to year-end sales is that not all models and trim levels are available in remaining inventory, and that number will grow even smaller as the month progresses. As such, it is advised to make use of these deals as soon as possible. Consumers can access Unhaggle’s new vehicle pricing data, incentives and tools for free at www.unhaggle.com.
