PRLog -- Alondra Gaytan has joined the EDC-VC’s (https://www.edc-
vc.com/) Small Business Development Center of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties as a program specialist. In this position, Gaytan will be responsible for coordinating with small business owners and innovators, as well as distributing information to the SBDC’s approximately 30 advisors who provide free one-on-one consulting to businesses in the region.
Being bilingual and having a strong background in customer service, Gaytan will also provide the SBDC’s Spanish-speaking clients with information and resources for their business needs.
“Alondra’s past success working in busy real estate and retail environments has honed her organizational skills, as well as made her an effective communicator and a strong team player.” said Ray Bowman, SBDC director.
A resident of Piru, Gaytan is also a tutor for students ages 13-19 with One Step a La Vez, where she provides academic assistance and encourages students to get involved in community activities. She has associates degrees in arts and humanities, and social and behavioral sciences from Ventura College. Gaytan is currently pursuing a degree in global studies at National University.
