Travel Weekly Magellan Awards Honors VIP Vacations with the Travel Agency Gold Award for Creating

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Oct. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- VIP Vacations was honored to receive the 2014 Gold Magellan Award for Travel Agency Innovation for a website. The Travel Weekly Magellan Awards honors and recognizes the best in travel in various categories for resorts, cruise lines, destinations, online travel services, and airlines. A panel of nine travel industry professionals, including travel blogger Johnny Jet, the CEO of the World Travel and Tourism Council Jean-Claude Baumgarten, and Marc Mancini, judged the various categories based on "a high standard of excellence" according to Travel Weekly. Their acknowledgement was stated in the October 2014 issue of Travel Weekly magazine.

VIP Vacations launched their award winning website in May 2013. The website was awarded with a Silver Magellan last year for its innovation. "It was time to re-do the entire VIP website.
