ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- On Friday, October 24, Boulder Coffee Co. will be filled with a frightening array of songs from some of Rochester’s most noted local musicians. The performers are teachers at the Rochester Academy of Music & Arts-- Western New York’s largest privately-owned music school. The Academy has partnered with Boulder, who will be hosting the event, featuring a crazy costume contest, piles of candy, creepy games and more. It’s a night of fun you won’t dare forget! The Spooktacular will take place at 7pm, and is free and open to the public.

A frighteningly good time

According to Academy owner Brannon Hungness, the idea for a Halloween event came naturally. “From the Monster Mash to the Time Warp, to the spooky backing track of your favorite horror film, music has always been an integral part of the Halloween experience,” Hungness explains. “Our Spooktacular event further fuses Halloween fun with music, all in a very kid-friendly format.” Some of the event highlights include music performances from costumed characters, fall-themed games and activities, and a fun costume contest for kids.
