Jared Coseglia to Speak at ACEDS West Coast e-Discovery Summit

Oct. 14, 2014 - PRLog -- NEW YORK  – TRU Staffing Partners, an award-winning search firm representing talent and opportunities in the e-discovery and litigation support space, today announced that Jared Coseglia, the company’s president, will be presenting during two panels at the ACEDS West Coast e-Discovery Summit, which will be held Oct. 21-22 in San Francisco.

The first presentation is scheduled for 10:50-11:50 a.m. on Tues., Oct. 21, and is titled, “Reading Industry Tea Leaves to Achieve ‘Automation-Proof’ Skills." In addition to Coseglia, panelists for this session include Ann Pearson, founder and director of Paralegal Boot Camp and Andy Wilson, founder and CEO of Logik.

This panel will consist of short "TED"-style talks to help audience members answer the question, "How do I get to where I want to go in my career?" During his portion of the presentation, Coseglia will address industry hiring trends: where we came from and how/why the e-discovery industry has changed; present landscape of the legal technology job market; and professional pathways to pursue in the future.

The second presentation is scheduled for 4:20-5:20 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 21, and is titled, "Carving out Your Personal e-Discovery Niche: How to Build a Resume, Network and Land the Job." In addition to Coseglia, panelists will again include Pearson, with the addition of Michael Boggs, director of practice support at Holland & Hart. The panel will address hot topics including industry opportunities, role definitions within those opportunities, skills those roles demand and how to obtain them, and how to convey those skills to a prospective employer through networking, resume building, social media and more.
