Co-Ops receive or sell chemical products that are highly regulated, labeled and traceable. At the Packer/Shipper/ Processor level the Co-Op sells quality, size and traceability to the public. In between is a business that operates on the back of a piece of paper with enough recordation to pass an audit that at this time fails to see the consequences of dissimilar data within the industry. That gap will further widen as proprietary platforms are adopted across the Co-Ops member base.
