New logo, new website and now Free CoWorking Day in honor of newly named CoWorking Space at BizWorks

CHESTERFIELD, Va. - Sept. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- BizWorks has been busy.  Recently promoting a new logo, a new website http://www.bizworkscenter.org and now Free CoWorking Day in honor of the newly named CoWorking space.  In August BizWorks held a grand opening for the newly developed CoWorking space and held a contest for the naming of the space.  A winner has been selected and the name will be unveiled Monday, September 29^th at 10:00am.  In honor of this auspicious occasion BizWorks is offering a day of free CoWorking.  All are welcome to come by between 9am and 6pm to collaborate, connect and cowork by using cublicles, tables or other comfy seating areas and wifi.   is broadening its offerings to small business owners to now include coworking.

The spacious area provided for coworking allows for collaboration or for individuals to be “cubicled” off to work on their own.  The Wi-Fi limits and unprofessional atmosphere of meeting at Panera will no longer be necessary.  BizWorks coworking space will provide Wi-Fi and a host of additional offerings for the entrepreneur starting at $20 a day.

Coworking allows an entrepreneur to work without any undesired distractions.  It’s so easy for an entrepreneur to think they can work from home and multitask and just throw in a load of clothes while they work but then housework overtakes your business work.  Coworking also eliminates the isolation of working alone.  This atmosphere creates a natural arena for networking, collaboration and for product review.  For BizWorks it is the natural next step as we already service entrepreneurs as Virtual Members who work from home and Residential Members who rent office or warehouse space in our building.  Coworking is that middle ground for those who are ready to branch out from the kitchen table but aren’t quite ready for 24/7 office or warehouse space.

BizWorks Enterprise Center is a non-profit, mixed use small business incubator founded in 2001 by the Jefferson Davis Association.  As the Executive Director Suzanne coordinates resources to nurture new and emerging companies and accelerate their growth during the early years.   BizWorks’ focus is on providing the best administrative and advisory services within a supportive, professional environment.  Successful graduates leave financially sound, create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, and contribute to the local economy.
