LEISURE CORP Wins Today's Traveller Awards for BEST MICE Operator
After National Tourism Award, Leisure Corp bags another prominent award from the Tourism industry

New Delhi, 16th September 2014 : Leisure Corp has been recognised as the winner of Today’s Traveller Award for the Best MICE operator under the category of travel agent/tour operator. The Traveller award is the only independent business award that acknowledges and celebrates excellence across all sectors in tourism, corporate and entertainment industries.
The 8th Annual Today’s Traveller Awards, 2014, was organised by Gill India Group and took place at The Ashok, New Delhi. National Tourism Award Winner, Leisure Corp, has won the category of Best MICE operator for empowering the business of tourism and servicing quality-based MICE programmes with innovation of experiences at destinations like Castello Orsini Odescalchi in Italy, Townhall in Australia, Eltham Palace in London, Montjuic Castle in Spain, Mount Rigi in Switzerland, Christchurch in New Zealand and many more.
The Chief Guest, Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State for Tourism and Culture (independent charge), launched the cover of the Today’s Traveller Winners’ Matrix Coffee Table Book and gave away the 8th Annual Today’s Traveller Awards to the industry’s best that involved awards in 45 categories.
In the special award ceremony, Leisure Corp was felicitated with Today’s Traveller Awards trophy and a certificate, a recognition and honour reserved for the 45 outstanding organisations and their CEOs/ founders for their resourcefulness and leadership in business value. On the occasion of receiving prestigious award,The Leisure Corp CEO, Mr. Naveen Kundu said "We at Leisure Corp aim to build MICE properties with effective strategies that not only route experiential programmes, but also invigorate destinations & creative experiences globally. Being appreciated for our efforts strengthens our mission of promoting tourism and empowering travel based solutions."
While lauding the efforts of the Gill India Group in recognising and acknowledging the leaders of the travel and tourism industry, which is the biggest motivation and inspiration for the industry partners Shri Naik said, "It is my priority to develop India as an important tourism destination. We are focussing on new marketing efforts along with developing the new products as well as creating and nurturing the infrastructure facilities to enhance our existing products. Our government is laying special emphasis on the tourism sector because it the sector is a high value add in the economy."
