Wives Behind the Badge, Inc. Announces Inaugural Convention & Retreat

Sept. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Wives Behind the Badge, Inc. (WBTB) is excited and honored to announce its Inaugural Convention and Retreat slated for July 17-19, 2015 in Daniels, West Virginia at the beautiful, picturesque Resort at Glade Springs.

Many months of planning and preparation have gone into this event with WBTB volunteers from around the country communicating virtually to create this much-anticipated retreat for police wives.  With breakout sessions, on-site activities, mixers and a banquet, guests are sure to walk away with a feeling of pride and sense of support as they continue their journey as the spouse of a law enforcement officer.

WBTB is honored to also announce two dynamic keynote speakers with author Victoria Newman (CHiP on My Shoulder and How to Love Your Cop) presenting Friday and Lisa Oliver, best known as “Mrs. Chief” of the Brimfield Police Department and Director of the Chief Oliver Foundation presenting on Saturday.

Included in the cost of the ticket is hotel and meal fees and several options are available for consideration.  Pre-registration is required with a non-refundable fee, which is required in order to purchase a ticket.  The registration is available beginning today and will be open until December 31, 2014.  Beginning January 1, 2015, ticket sales will open and run through May 1, 2015.  Seats are limited.  Updates to available breakout sessions and activities will be provided as they become available.  All details related to this retreat can be found by visiting: http://www.wivesbehindthebadge.org on the National Events page.
