Creative Works Designs Custom Laser Tag Arenas
-- The family skating center, Interskate 88, now features a custom multi-level laser tag arena to complement its roller skating rink and arcade. Creative Works (www.theWOWeffect.com)
designed a 3,400 square foot space with a new "Warehouse District" theme that WOW's players once they step inside.
Fitted with laser tag gear, players enter the arena as if they were walking into a video game environment or a block buster movie. Creative Works’ team of artists and prop builders were flown in to create incredible scenery filled with 3D murals; industrial props, gears, beams, and grates; metallic-like wall structures and city facades to get players inside the game.
Jeff Schilling and his project management team from Creative Works worked closely with the architects and contractors to coordinate the attraction and ensure a smooth process from beginning to end. "It turned out better than I ever imagined it would. It looks fantastic. I would recommend Creative Works to anyone who's interested in adding a laser tag attraction,"
commented Eric Nelson, the owner of the facility.
Eric and his staff were looking to bring this popular game to the community and offer dkiyt additional value within their center. New party packages for birthdays, groups and corporate events were added, and the overall response from both young and old has been great.
Interskate 88 is a 20,000 square-foot facility that has been serving the central New York community since 1981. It features a full arcade, indoor playground, stuffshop with Redemption Tickets, pro shop, disco dance floor, roller skate rentals, and snack bar.
