Family Documents Their Life On YouTube For 5+ Years

LAFAYETTE, La. - Aug. 11, 2014 - PRLog -- August 11, 2014 - Lafayette, LA. Lane Fournerat and his family, AKA TheFunnyrats, have been documenting their lives every day for the past 5+ years on their YouTube channel, TheFunnyrats. Over the course of these five years, they have garnered 3.3 million video views and over 9,500 subscribers, who come back to watch.

Lane Fournerat started documenting his life on April 23, 2009. Mr. Fournerat graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelors in Performing Arts in 2004, and self-taught himself how to shoot and edit video. Since YouTube was established in 2005, he has had a passion for online video ever since.

Lane and his wife, Krista, have set a goal of selling everything they own, buying an Airstream travel trailer and taking their YouTube show on the road with their two kids. Lane says that with more viewers watching their videos, this goal of living full-time in an Airstream could become a reality within one year.
