Filter Will Be Making an Appearance at the House of Music and Entertainment
Filter will be joined on August 21st by Stars in Stereo, Jimi Falls, and Veritae.
Those in attendance will be treated to previously unreleased songs “The Hand That’s Dealt” and “We Hate It When You Get What You Want” from the rock band’s latest album The Sun Comes Out Tonight.
H.O.M.E.’s doors for Filter’s live performance are scheduled to open at 7:00 p.m. with the show to begin at approximately 8:00 p.m. Tickets are still available and can be purchased for $10 in advance or $15 at the door on the day of the show.
Filter was first formed back in 1993 in Cleveland, Ohio with band mates Richard Patrick and Brian Liesegang. In 1994, the duo calling themselves Filter signed with Reprise Records and released their debut album Short Bus, which included their hit single “Hey Man Nice Shot.”
Since the release of their first album, Filter has released five additional records, culminating in June 2013's The Sun Comes Out Tonight. Current band members along with Patrick include Jonathan Radtke, who Patrick says is “just incredibly talented”, and Tim Kelleher.
Currently Filter is signed with Wind-up Records.
