SAGINAW, Mich. - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- aginaw, Mich., part of the Great Lakes Bay Region, July 29, 2014 – Brand new infrastructure and extensive site studies have been completed, and the 231-acre Great Lakes Tech Park is ready for occupancy. Not only is this site being offered free of charge, the State of Michigan recently announced up to $2 million grant for prospective Park occupants.

Located in the Great Lakes Bay Region of Michigan, 90 miles north of Detroit and 90 west of the Canadian border, the Tech Park has access to world class advanced manufacturing workforce. Michigan has a legacy of excellence in manufacturing. With lead employers, Dow Chemical Company, Dow Corning Corporation, Hemlock Semiconductor and Nexteer Automotive, the Great Lakes Bay Region is on the forefront of advanced, automated manufacturing. As a result, the workforce in the region is skilled and available.

The Tech Park is at the intersection of two state highways, only 12 miles from Interstate 75 and 13 miles from the MBS International Airport. The closest seaport is nine miles away and connects to the Atlantic Ocean via the St. Lawrence Seaway.

As mentioned above, the site is outfitted with all new infrastructure including roads, water, sewer, gas and electric. In order to expedite construction, several land surveys and reports have also been conducted. An ALTA Survey, a soil bearing study/report, a wetlands study/report and an archeological study/report all conclude that the Tech Park is a prime location for construction. These studies and reports are all available for review atwww.GreatLakesTechnologyPark.com.
