| ![]() "A Life, Redefined" by Tracy Hewitt Meyer Wins RONE Award For Best YA NovelInD'Tale Magazine hosts second annual RONE awards ceremony in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"Winning the RONE award was surreal. This is the first award I've received, so it was extra special. I'll never forget the sound of hearing my name and my book announced," stated Ms. Meyer. The 2014 RONE award ceremony recognized the best novels for the year 2013 and rewards excellence in the indie and small publishing industries. A Life, Redefined follows the story of Rowan Slone and delves into the real issues that real teens face today, such as dysfunctional families, relationships, and self-harm. "I like to write characters who deal with psychological issues. Rowan has many issues she has to work through in order to find her happiness," continued Ms. Meyer. "She is very fragile but tough at the same time. She is a manifestation of the type of character I hope we can all learn from." A Life, Redefined is also available on audiobook. A Life, Forward, the second book in the series, is also available. All titles are available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other fine retailers. The final book, A Life, Freed, will be released late 2014.
